We are IPC Asia Pacific, and we are owned by you. 

Who are we? We're a team of subject matter experts who purchase your food, equipment, packaging, décor items and technology from Subway®’s approved Supplier Partners. We also manage the supply chain and provide a range of support and value added services to help you run your business efficiently and cost effectively.  

Our mission is simple. We are here to help you and other Subway® Franchise Owners be more profitable and competitive – today and in the future.

Background:

Officially registered as Independent Purchasing Company (Australasia) Limited, we refer to ourselves as IPC Asia Pacific to better reflect our growing regional role. The company was established in 1998 by the small number of Business Development Agents and Franchise Owners in Australia and New Zealand who recognised the opportunity to save money and add value by buying and distributing food to Restaurants as a cooperative. Based on a model started in North America two years earlier, the business quickly developed to reflect the very specific needs of the market here. 

In the 19 years since then, our role, responsibilities and geographic reach has grown as we develop new and innovative ways to add value to your business. Now offering a range of value added support services and retail technology solutions, we remain as committed to our mission today as we were back in 1998. These roles and responsibilities are clearly defined and agreed with the Global Support Centre. 

As our mission statement says, our goal is to ensure that you are paying the lowest cost for the best quality products and services in order to help you to be as profitable and competitive as possible.

IPC Asia Pacific is not publicly listed on any stock market and, whilst we have no legal connection with the Subway Global Support Centre, we're working closely with them to ensure that we are aligned on future objectives to meet your ongoing requirements.

The power of many

Consistent with the core principles on which we were founded, we operate a centralised, shared service model and, with the support of our IPC partners around the world, we use global, regional and local volumes to drive supply chain strategies that allow us to procure high quality, approved products at the best price. 

This way of working ensures that every market is able to punch above its weight when it comes to purchasing power and is the foundation of our annual savings and value targets.
